Super cute, super quaint.
I remember visiting Torshavn five years ago, and it did not disappoint on my return visit. As the capital of the Faroe Islands, I suppose some grandeur could be expected, but I love that it’s got such a small-town feeling.
It has quite the history though. Vikings instituted their parliament there in the year 850 AD!
I love how grass grows on most of the buildings, which are super colorful. My favorite part is the park. It’s so sweet and airy. Sometimes all I need during my short breaks on port days is a little nature and fresh air. Thankfully the park provided just that. And an opportunity to practice long exposure shots of running water. I’m starting to get it, but it takes time! Enjoy!
