*So it’s been a month now since I flew out of the UK, which means it’s been over a month since visiting York. Shame on me, I know, I’ve just been having a hard time committing to sharing this all again. I actually have plenty of time, the issues are completely in my own head. And it doesn’t help that my camera and I are in a constant battle.*
This is York! Famously haunted, quaint and adorable, and oh so charming. And bonus – the sun was out on that October day!
And double bonus, we got to meet up with one of my bestest ship friends to explore.
Enjoy the photos! And only go to Betty’s, the famous tea house, if you don’t mind spending too much for your treats. Or perhaps sitting in the windowless basement. Or standing outside in line for a while.
Other than that, York is gorgeous! So glad to have seen it. NOTHING like the NEW York, but wonderful in its own rite. If you get a chance, definitely check it out.
Since this beautiful day in OLD York, I’ve had many adventures, so don’t hold your breath, but please do check back to see whether my camera, my mind, and I, have decided to once again ‘play nicely,’ and share.
*Originally posted mid-November but moved to be in correct order of travels.

Thanks very much! I didn’t actually buy anything, I was just amused by the angle of the building after all these years!

Wow! Very keel pictures! So makes me sad that I can’t just pop into any of the European countries like we could from AD. York looks amazing, and I’m very happy that your heart, head and camera are aligned. Keep writing! I would suggest more writing on your posts. Let people know about the places you’ve visited. I know I would like to hear more stories.
Love ya Kiwi

I’ll try to throw more stories in, poppey. Photos are the easy way though! And this one time I heard that a picture was worth a thousand words, so I thought that would do…
Anyway, happy to take contributions for my next camera upgrade!
