This town is one of the most beautiful I have ever seen.  It has definitely, without a doubt worked its way into my top favorite places. Valletta, the capital of Malta has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site for the past thirty years, and with good reason.  Some of the buildings date back to the 1500s. MALTA VISTA As we wound our way through the streets, warm sunlight poured into every alley, bringing out the orange and yellow building tones.  Although most of my photos highlight older portions of the city, which I found most stunning, there are also very modern areas for shopping and dining.  Around every corner I found beauty. It was even used for the Jerusalem portion of ‘World War Z,’ as a kind local excitedly pointed out.  Other parts of Malta have been seen in ‘Game of Thrones,’ ‘The DaVinci Code,’ and ‘Captain Phillips.’  There’s a reason Hollywood keeps scouting it out!
